  The list maintained, and perhaps periodically published by, a receiving state which gives the names of those who, being officers of consular posts in a particular city or cities, enjoy consular status within the receiving state. In respect of any one city or consular district, the local authority or the consular corps itself may publish a consular list - although it would not be authoritative so far as the enjoyment of consular status is concerned.
